1. Provider & Acceptance of Terms

These terms are provided by sydacos GmbH, Hasenböge 17, 21514 Klein Pampau, Germany (registered at Amtsgericht Lübeck, HRB 10411 HL).

By using RenoQuant (renoquant.com), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Calculator Accuracy Disclaimer

All calculations provided by RenoQuant are estimates only. Actual material requirements, costs, and project timelines may vary based on:

  • Surface conditions and texture
  • Product-specific coverage rates and specifications
  • Installation method and skill level
  • Room irregularities, obstacles, and structural conditions
  • Local building codes and standards
  • Current market prices (our prices are approximate EUR estimates)
  • Regional differences in material availability and pricing

RenoQuant is not a substitute for professional measurement and advice. Always consult a qualified contractor or tradesperson for precise project planning.

3. Limitation of Liability

RenoQuant provides calculators and information "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the extent permitted by applicable law, sydacos GmbH is not liable for:

  • Inaccurate calculations or estimates
  • Material over-purchase or under-purchase based on our calculations
  • Project delays, cost overruns, or financial losses
  • Quality of work performed by contractors referred through our platform
  • Any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services

This limitation of liability does not apply to damages caused by intent or gross negligence, or to liability that cannot be excluded under German law (e.g., liability under the Product Liability Act).

4. Contractor Referrals

When you request quotes through our lead form, we connect you with independent local contractors. RenoQuant acts solely as an intermediary and is not responsible for:

  • The quality, safety, or legality of contractor work
  • Contractor pricing, availability, or qualifications
  • Disputes between you and any contractor
  • Compliance with local building regulations by contractors

We recommend checking credentials, insurance, references, and local licensing requirements before hiring any contractor.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on RenoQuant — including text, calculators, algorithms, design, illustrations, and code — is the intellectual property of sydacos GmbH and is protected by German and international copyright law.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute our content without prior written permission. You may share links to our calculators and embed our calculators on your website using the provided embed code.

6. Affiliate Links & Advertising

Some links on RenoQuant are affiliate links (including Amazon Associates links). When you purchase through these links, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not influence our calculator formulas or material recommendations.

We also display advertisements through Google AdSense. Ad content is determined by Google and does not represent endorsement by sydacos GmbH.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Submit false, misleading, or spam data through our forms
  • Attempt to interfere with the operation or security of our website
  • Scrape, crawl, or extract data from our website without written permission
  • Use our services for any illegal purpose or in violation of applicable laws
  • Reverse-engineer our calculator algorithms or software

We may update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of RenoQuant after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).

The courts of Lübeck, Germany shall have jurisdiction for any disputes arising from the use of this website, to the extent permitted by law. For consumers within the EU, the mandatory consumer protection provisions of their country of residence shall apply.

10. Online Dispute Resolution

The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (OS): https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/

We are not obligated or willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

11. Severability

If any provision of these terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid provision that comes as close as possible to the economic purpose of the invalid provision.
